Her nick name was Pia. She was so kind and amazing with our kids. For the short time she was in our lives, she adapted well. Yet - she played on all of our emotions everyday, true basenji-style... Pia hated being left home alone. Nothing could ease her fear, not even being together with Eyla. Pia missed her humans....
Now we miss her
She died so tragicly one friday, late January 2009. Hit by a car
I was devastated - there was nothing to be done for her
At the same time Eyla had her first litter in our house, so after a few days of greeving we decided to keep Demani. Demani reminded us the most of her aunt Pia
So - Pia kind of lives on in our house, and most defenetly in our hearts
She is deeply missed
